The College UMC Soup Kitchen is open Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm to anyone in need of a hot, nourishing meal or a warm, friendly
place to visit. Volunteers are always appreciated and especially around the holidays.
If you would like more information, please contact our Soup Kitchen Coordinator, Glenda Plant, at 929 6614. This is a
great opportunity for students to earn volunteer hours and for community members to lend a helping hand.

Omelet Dinners are held the first Friday of every month from 5:00-7:30
pm. It's a fundraiser for our parsonage property taxes. For $5.00 you get a ruffled French omelet with your choice of turkey
ham, green onions, green pepper, mushrooms, jack and cheddar cheese, a homemade scone, fruit and a beverage. We also offer
scones and gravy for $4.00!
In April we shoo out the chickens and serve spaghetti with homemade sauce, tossed green
salad, garlic bread, and a beverage for $5.00. You can also buy some great desserts...if you still have room!
We do not hold omelet dinners in July and August due to vacation schedules and the summer heat. Be sure to join us on September
7th!
